Saturday 8/26/06 - 12PM NOON at CP vs. the Knights
Ok, so it's the final week of the regular season. We've got a full weekend to look forward to, with 4 games, starting with 2 against the Knights on Saturday. It hasn't been decided yet, but it'll be either at Marine Park at 3:15 PM (as it is currently scheduled) or (and this is more likely) it will be at College Point at 10 AM. We've had a pretty crappy turnout these past few weeks, and with a full team we're definitely capable of winning (hell, even with just the 10 guys we almost did). So come on people, it's the last game of the regular season, don't you wanna play ball? Who's down: Mike D* Tom Simon Adam Nigel Chris Drew Ozzie MA Mike N Who's not: Steve (Atlantic City) Mike N (?) *needs a ride Coming but not playing unless it's an emergency: Pete (DL with bone chip in right foot, in the metatarsus) I'll be there to take stats and pictures, but I doubt my foot will be healed enough to the point that it would be a good decision to play (doctor said to give it 3-4 weeks... I've heard THAT before and bounced back much quicker). Still, if I'm the 8th guy I guess I could play first base or something, rather than forfeit. I'm going to college straight after the game so I won't be there for Sunday's games (and man I really wanted to play the Skyline and Renegades, since their pitching seems weaker than the Clippers').

cant make it this weekend. ill be losing my money in atlantic city. im finally starting to hit and the season is over, that sucks. im definately down for fall baseball if it's on. pete, by the way, i was 1 for 1 (single) with a walk and a HBP on sunday's game.

Weddings are a necessary evil that you have to go to when your friends have the audacity to marry. Atlantic City and Vegas are places of debauchery...making playing baseball seem like watching a -*test*-('") pattern.
