The Beers I think we should aspire to be in the top 20 by the end of the season (ambitious I know) and have more wins than last year (7W 22L). With Mike N doing our line-up I know we can do it !!

we may be 22 but we play 10 games against 18-21. I am no longer doing lineups, i didn't realize how much work that was. Pete did better at leadoff than ever before, he reached base everytime, which means, like me at third base, he is undefeated at leadoff. Between him leading off and me at third, we just need someone to drink too much and stay out till the sun comes up and adam is completely replaced.

Looking at the upcoming schedule, we should not have trouble coming up with at least 5 wins. I think that part of the problem of this past weekends ugly games is that we're using these games as practice. These games are probably the only time most of us try to hit a baseball, and field grounders, and fly balls and stuff. If we could have better practices, I'm sure we'd all feel more comfortable when game time rolls around. That being said, let's try to have a good practice this Thursday. Any ideas are welcome. As we saw from my 1-plus innings against the BlueSox, I can pitch some decent BP. I'd like to work on ground balls (duh) and double plays since we missed like 6 or 7 chances against the Knights. It stays light until past 8, so even if you can come at 7, it's probably worth it. We can't use games as practice. We've got a good little break here, so let's try to have a bunch of good practices between now and our next game on July 7th. Let's show the league that we don't deserve the bottom spot on the power rankings.
