Playoff Format
Here's an email I got from the Commish: B/C of all the Rainouts, and the loss of the Celtic for the rest of the season, the competive integrity of the league has been tarnished. Teams no longer will have the same road to the playoffs. Some teams may have an easier schedule than other teams competing for the same playoff spot. As a way to ensure that all teams have a fair shot at the playoffs, we will expand the playoff format to include 6 teams. There will be division champions, and 3 wild card teams. The format will be similar to the NFL. Top 2 teams get a first round bye, with #3 facing #6, and #4 facing #5. The first 2 rounds will be single elimination, with the finals being a best of 3 series. Higher ranked teams will have the home field advantage. We still have a chance to make the playoffs... :)
