Nothing beats grass to play on. But I understand that it's too hard to maintain in the city. It'll turn into a dustfield in no time. So it's worth it to use the rubber i think. Plus the rubber is nicer to dive on. Although, I did get a piece in my eye while scooping a ball.

I don't know if anybody saw it, but today on the front of the Metro paper there was an article saying that a new study proved that the turf actually was dangerous.

yeah, I saw that article. It described how one kid \"even had the toxic rubber pellets in his shoes\". big deal... back in the day, kids would pay a penny to play with the x-ray machine at the shoe store. People are too sensitive these days. I think College Point is the best field we play on.
