Florida Tournament Invite
Wassup Beers!!! Hope the off season is going well for everyone.. Enjoy your time off because it will be time to start training again before you know it. :) Anyway, I just got this email from Kenric so I wanted to make everyone aware of this opportunity. As you may or may not know, a bunch of us (mostly consisting of Clippers, Warriors, and Knights) are heading down to Florida in less than a month (November 9th-12th) to participate in a Tournament. Many of you may of heard of the fun we had while playing in the philly tournament during Labor Day weekend. We are looking for additional players who may be interested in coming to Florida with us. We are inviting you and your teammates. However, because we have limited spots, we can only take 1-2 more people. Some of the basic information is: $140 for tournament - includes min 5 games, balls, ump fees and fields. Airfare you must get on your own. Most are going down Wednesday night 10/8 and leavng Sunday/Monday 10/12/10/13. Hotel is 90 a night. but we will most likely split amongst the teammates. Payment due upon arrival. car rental is on your own. However, there should be at least 3 rentals so we can carpool and fees will be divided upon departure. Side note- tournament is in west palm beach. that is where you should arrive. you can leave whenever you want and from whereever you want. Some of us are leaving from fort lauderdale on monday or tuesday because we want to enjoy the weather there. That's all the info for now. Please let me kow if you or someone on your team is interested (I assume you will try to pass this on). Contact me asap for more info. Since there's less than a month to go, it is crucial if interested, you contact me and we work out the logistics ASAP. To be even more specific (although not crucial) - I'm lookig for thirdbase man's, catcher's, and pitchers - or combination of those or super utility player. Thanks. Kenric Sounds pretty cool.. I have some vacation days that I have to use before the end of the year, so I'm seriously considering this. There is of course the possibility of getting our own team together, but it is probably unlikely that enough of us can go at the same time. There are tournaments all the time, so keep on eye on the NABA website www.dugout.org I know that after the summer season, some of us could use a break (at least I could), but now that a couple months have passed, I'm starting to feel the itch again. We should try to stay in touch and hang out.. and maybe even *gasp* practice :-p Anyway, let Kenric ( kenric.tom@gmail.com )know if you're interested in the Florida thing. Sounds cool, but not for me. I'm itching to play too, but not in a tourney. I really just want to play some catch! I wish I was home so that I had somebody to play catch with :(. Can't wait until next year. Also, that new avatar you have is kind of... generic/lame, don't you think? Like something my roommate would have a poster of in his room, to go next to the "Periodic Table of Mixology" and Fallout Boy posters. And signing your emails with "love" is kind of weirding me out... and I'm your brother, I'm not sure how the people who aren't related to you feel about it. Even if it is joking in tone.

Joking in tone? I love The Beers! Each and every one of you. As for the avatar. You are correct, sir! It is officially stupid. I was just curious if I could use an animated avatar and this was the first one that made itself available. I will change it based on your feedback. Thanks! How about dem Mets eh?
