Daily News begins coverage of the NYCMBL
From the league's website: The NYCMBL in the Daily News August 1, 2006 - -- The Daily News, today in it's Queens Section, began it's rest of the season coverage of the NYCMBL. Impressed with the direction of the league, it's goals, and especially the competative level of all it's teams, the Daily News will now be making visits to various games in games in Queens to get the word out about the NYCMBL, and the quality of baseball which is played week in, and week out in this soaring league. This committment by the Daily News speaks volumes about the NYCMBL as the Daily News is by far, New York City's largest daily publication. What will be next, maybe WFAN? He're we come Mike and the Mad Dog. This Sunday, the Daily News will be at College Point to cover the Queens Red Sox vs. College Point Clippers match-up at 2pm. This doubledip will surely be one of the best match-ups of the weekend. Come down to the field, watch some great baseball, and support your team! That's pretty cool... what do you guys think? Anyone got yesterday's paper?

That's pretty cool, even though the Daily News is a terrible paper. And you can't get it online, since apparently their website sucks just as much. Still, now there's a lot more pressure to play well or else we'll let the league down. We don't want to look like idiots in front of the Daily News. I'll definitely check it out next Monday. Why is it in the Queens section, though? Should be the sports section!

I think putting NYCMBL baseball in the sports section is a bit of a stretch. It's not like it's the spelling B.

Anyone got the paper today? I think it's supposed to show the scores on Tuesdays. Just curious...

Great, now it's tuesdays? I skimmed through every page of yesterday's paper looking for it and didn't find anything. Go pick one up on your way home, it's only like 25 cents or whatever.

Yeah, me too.. I think it's only in the Queens edition which I didn't know existed.
