Becoming a good team In fact, the beers is not a good team yet. However, I think that we are in the process of becoming a good team, and hopefully when we become a good team at some point, we will take that step to become a great team. Indeed, we are working our way to becoming a great team. As a player of beers, let me explain to you how to become a good team.
For Player
Every team in sport must have different types of players who must play a specific role that best fits their talents and abilities. Too many of the same type of player will hurt the team. Fortunately, we have different type of players. For instance, Nigel and I came from different countries and Mike N has his own business, and Peter and Andrew are young and students. I think the combination of variety in beers will contribute to becoming a good team. In addition, a successful team has chemistry and is well balanced. We need to get together as much as we can to have a great chemistry. Hanging out together as well as practicing frequently would be a good idea. Finally, players must be selected and put in the right positions to get the best performance out of each and every member.
Dealing with losing games
Every game, every practice, and every situation that arises in a competitive environment could be faced with having to deal with losing games which is the main concern of beers. I think the obstacle can be turned to another opportunity. As John F. Kennedy reminded us forty years ago, the chinese character for risk is a blending of the characters for \\\\\\\"danger\\\\\\\" and \\\\\\\"opportunity\\\\\\\" It means that risk can be another opportunity, depending on how to handle it. Even though we face in risk at this moment. I think the beers can become a good team by overcoming the obstacle.
As a matter of fact, I'v made a lot of errors every game. So, I might not be a qualified person to comment on this. But, even though I am not a good player, I would dedicate myself to becoming a good team player as well as making a good team. Thank you, my friends.

Thanks Andy for the words of wisdom.. very true.
We are definitely getting better.. We should remember that we have a fairly easy schedule to close out the season, and we still have very winable make-ups against the Heat (unless they forfeit), the Renegades. Plus a makeup against the Skyline who we've beaten twice this season. So our record could end up being way more respectable than it is now.
We actually still have a pretty good chance at raising our record to .500
If all goes right in the coming weeks we could be 16-16. It's something to shoot for..

After reading Andy's thing ten times, I think I see what he means.

I liked the Kennedy quote about the Chinese character.
Also, we're only 5 games out of a playoff spot right now. With 4 regular games left and 6 make-ups (2 vs. Heat, 2 vs. Knights, 1 vs. Skyline and 1 vs. Renegades) assuming they get scheduled, we actually have a chance. I'm going to try to schedule those makeups...
I forgot about the makeups with the Clippers. So that's 12 games left assuming they all are able to be made up.

Yeah, that thing about the chinese character is pretty cool. Ancient Chinese wisdom!
We should really pay attention to the Chinese more often. I have my Little Red Book right on my desk and refer to it daily. As Chairman Mao has said, "Pay attention to uniting and working with comrades who differ with you. This should be borne in mind both in the localities and in the army (or baseball team). It also applies to relations with people outside the Party (or baseball team). We have come together from every corner of the country and should be good at uniting in our work not only with comrades who hold the same views as we but also with those who hold different views."
And remember, "The tank is a new weapon combining the functions of both spear and shield."
(Yes, I am serious about having a Little Red Book on my desk. I turned to 2 random pages to find those quotes, but they are surprisingly appropriate! Especially the tank one)
