7/8/05 - Wet Weekend
Flood warnings are currently in effect in Manhattan so the chances of playing tomorrow's game aren't looking so good. I will alert everyone as soon as a decision is made. The commisioner is going to check the field conditions tonight so if you want to check the status, call the hotline: 718 233 4299. If Saturday's game does end up getting rained out, there is a possibility of having a make-up right away on Sunday (7/10) at 9:00 AM. If you are ready, willing and able to play on Sunday at 9 (should the possibility become reality) let your status be known here. The 2nd batch of jerseys has been ordered for the new Beers so hopefully we'll have them by next game. Reminder: If anyone still wants a Beers hat, just go to LIDS and choose any hat (preferably Royal Blue) and ask for the Beers digitized logo (not the one from their stock logo collection).

I'm available Sunday if needed.

Oh well.. it's not going to happen tomorrow. It'll probably be a double-header next week. The league still hasn't released the amended schedule, but I'm sure they will soon. Obviously, I'll let everyone know and put it up online (if they don't update their site).
