6/25/06 - Another Washout
It always seems to rain on the weekends. Especially if we're supposed to be playing in College Point. At least the game was called before we went out there. Anyway, moving forward, we have a makeup for the Week 3 rainout against the Renegades (1-16) this Saturday at 9:00 AM @ 145th St. It will be a 9-inning game. Sunday (7/2) is the All Star game @ College Point. It will include a HR Derby, All Star game, catered food and everyone is invited. Representing The Beers in the All Star Game will be - Andrew Pobuda, 3B - Chris Adamo, 1B - Mike Darling, SS Andrew and Chris will also partake in the HR Derby and as we have seen during the season, they both have a good chance at winning the pot. So come support your teammates, have some food and have a nice Sunday full of baseball. :)
