6/01/05 - Roster slots now available, 2 Games this Weekend!
Some spots have opened up due to the sudden unavailability of some players so if you know any good players (especially pitchers), let them know that they may have a shot at joining the infamous Beers! We have a weekend double-header this weekend. First, we have a 4:00 PM game against the Brooklyn Knights (0-3) on Saturday at Marine Park. If we win, we can't celebrate too much, because the next game the next morning at 9:00 AM on Sunday against the New York Heat (1-2) at Colonel Charles Young Field. Practice - Everyone is encouraged to come to the Great Lawn at 5:30 PM Thursday and/or Friday so we could grab a field and get ready for the weekend games! Let me know if you can come. And feel free to bring any prospects you may have. I also updated the "Meet the Beers" page to show the active roster. Email me a picture and a short bio of yourself so I can put them up (favorite color, favorite X-Games athlete, and other interesting info). Stats will be up soon... Thank you, and enjoy the game.
