2006 Baseball
First of all, thanks to all The Beers for a great season from you guys. The start was a little slow, but I have to say that your manager did a great job rallying the troops. As commissioner of the ZBL I respect this team a hell of a whole lot. Second off, there will be NO ZBL next season. A lot of the teams had good players, but no sense of FUN.... It became too competitive, and turned into something that I don't want any part of. With that said, teams like The Beers, Heat, Mad Dogs, Clippers, and Knights were great to deal with. Next season we are going to rebrand our league (Rec Sports USA) and target teams like The Beers. Guys who are intersted in Recreation, and having a good time. The league fee will be about the same (depending on increases in insurance, and field fees...) I would love to have the Beers back. The league will be smaller, and much more organized. A maximum of 6 teams, so that we can better communicate with everyone. Hopefully the Beers will be around in 2006. PS.
